As students of JSS3 prepare to enter secondary schools for their secondary education, parents are anxious to ensure their wards are in the best of health, before entering boarding schools for the secondary education. (As is the tradition in Ghana)
Rotary Club of Accra –Tesano also organized an eye screening exercise for the JSS3 students of St. Theresa’s School. This was done with help from Van J Eye Services. The exercise attracted lots of attention from the tutors as well and at the end of the day, teachers, workers and other students had their eyes screened.

People who required further optical attention were given referral slips to Van J Eye Clinic for further tests. At the end of the day the students expressed their appreciation, whilst the younger kids appealed that we come every year till it got to their turn.
